The White Plains High School Athletics Hall of Fame will welcome eight outstanding new members when it conducts its eighth Induction Event on Monday evening, Nov. 13, in the school’s Media Center, located in the main Administrative Building.
The ceremonies, which are free of charge, begin at 6:30 pm, preceded by a Social Hour commencing at 5:30 pm. All family, friends, alumni, interested persons and related groups are invited to attend.
In accordance with policy #6690 Adopted on December 9, 2019, the White Plains Board of Education will seek one additional community member to add to its Audit/Finance Committee, to assist in providing financial oversight for the District.
The committee, which also includes three Board of Education members, meets once a month during the school year, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Education House. Membership will be for the 2023-24 school year.
